"History of Tay-Sachs Disease." History of Tay-Sachs Disease. National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases. Web. 7 May 2012. <http://www.ntsad.org/index.php/tay-sachs/history>.
This website describes the history of Tay-Sachs. Warren Tay and Bernard Sachs, the two physicians who are the first to report the incidence of the disease and the disease named after them.

Morgan, M. "TAY-SACHS by Morgan M. - Genetic Disorders: 6th Grade." TAY-SACHS by Morgan M. - Genetic Disorders: 6th Grade. Sites.google.com. Web. 08 May 2012. <http://sites.google.com/site/geneticdisorders6/tay-saches>.
This website is good in explaining the Tay-Sachs and the image is very good as well. But we use the image of lysosome.

Moyses, Chris. "Substrate Reduction Therapy: Clinical Evaluation in Type 1 Gaucher Disease." Rstb.royalsocietypublishing.org. Rstb.royalsocietypublishing.org, 10 Apr. 2003. Web. 7 May 2012. <http://rstb.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/358/1433/955.full.pdf>.
This website is a good source because it explains the use of substrate reduction therapy in clinical research.

"NINDS Tay-Sachs Disease Information Page." Tay-Sachs Disease Information Page: National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). NIH.gov, 6 Oct. 2011. Web. 19 Apr. 2012. <http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/taysachs/taysachs.htm>.
This website is useful because the information is from government website. Also, we use this website for definition of Tay-Sachs disease, and explanation of treatment and prognosis.

Specht, Von BU, B. Geiger, R. Arnon, J. Passwell, G. Keren, B. Goldman, and B. Padeh. "Enzyme Replacement in Tay-Sachs Disease." Ncbi.nlm.nih.gov. Ncbi.nlm.nih.gov, 1979. Web. 5 May 2012. <http://www.ncbi.nlm.gov/pubmed/572006>.
This article explains the enzyme replacement in Tay-Sachs disease. Researchers conducted an experiment with two Tay-Sachs disease children age 14 and 7 week months infant. The procedure is done by giving a patient a weekly repetitive injection of pure hexosaminidase A. However, this therapy technique is not effective.

Stompsf. "Tay-Sachs Gene Therapy Consortium." YouTube. YouTube, 17 Oct. 2010. Web. 08 May 2012. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDzyL8w0htk>.
This video shows how the gene therapy works. Researchers used mice in this study because they have a similar disease as Tay-Sachs disease. They injected the AAV vector the brain of the mice.

"Tay-Sachs Disease Diagnosis." Tay-Sachs Disease Diagnosis. Newmedical.net. Web. 6 Apr. 2012. <http://www.news-medical.net/health/Tay-Sachs-Disease-Diagnosis.aspx>.
This website is useful because it explains the two possible kinds of screening, carrier testing and prenatal testing, which are useful for potential parents starting a family.

"Tay–Sachs Disease." Wikipedia.org. Wikipedia, 8 May 2012. Web. 8 May 2012. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tay%E2%80%93Sachs_disease>.
This website explains everything about Tay-Sachs. We use the information about the signs and symptoms through the research directions.

"The Cure Tay-Sachs Foundation - Research Initiatives - Gene Therapy." The Cure Tay-Sachs Foundation - Research Initiatives - Gene Therapy. Cure Tay-Sachs Foundation, 2007. Web. 3 May 2012. <http://019221f.netsolhost.com/gt.shtml>.
This website is a good source because it explains more in detail about the use of gene therapy in any disease that is located in the lysosome storage disorder. Also describe the clinical procedure for animal model.

"What Is Tay-Sachs Disease?" What Is Tay-Sachs Disease? NewMedical. Web. 08 Apr. 2012. <http://www.news-medical.net/health/What-is-Tay-Sachs-Disease.aspx>.
This website is a good source of definition, so we use this definition as well.

Willicx. "Tay-Sachs Disease." YouTube. YouTube, 18 Sept. 2011. Web. 08 May 2012. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0BlvZaAA2M>.
This video is a short explanation of the experimental, biological and genetic features of Tay-Sachs Disease
